Who We Are

We are a Pennsylvania non-profit Corporation founded on June 26, 1985.  The St. Marys Area Economic Development Corporation was formed by a group of area business leaders with a goal to promote economic growth and development within the St. Marys area.

We provide low-interest financing to area businesses through our revolving loan program.  We partner with local financial, non-profit, and government agencies to provide a complete loan package.

We also assist in grant writing services to local non-profit & government organizations.

Since our incorporation in 1985, we have helped over 80 area businesses and have put over $10 Million into the area economy through various loan programs.

Mission

We provide help and support to local businesses and local non-profits to secure funding through grant dollars and/or loan dollars for land and building projects. We take pride in our neighborhoods and work with business owners and entrepreneurs to expand and grow new businesses within the Elk & Cameron County areas. We also partner with local leaders and organizations to increase employment opportunities in our service area.
